Hickory Motor Speedway

Hickory Motor Speedway is a short track located in Hickory, North Carolina. It is one of stock car racing’s most storied venues, and is often referred to as the “World’s Most Famous Short Track” and the “Birthplace of the NASCAR Stars”. The track first opened in 1951 as a ¹⁄₂-mile dirt track.

Lowe’s Motor Speedway

Visit Charlotte’s superspeedway on a tour that includes pit road and the garage area. On days when the track isn’t in use, you’ll also ride around the 1.5 mile oval.

NASCAR Hall of Fame

(Charlotte)
Located in Uptown Charlotte, N.C., the 150,000-square-foot NASCAR Hall of Fame is an interactive, entertainment attraction honoring the history and heritage of NASCAR. The high-tech venue, designed to educate and entertain race fans and non-fans alike, opened May 11, 2010 and includes artifacts, interactive exhibits, and a 278-person state-of-the-art theater. Also on the property is Buffalo Wild Wings restaurant and the NASCAR Hall of Fame Gear Shop. The goal of the facility is to honor NASCAR icons and create an enduring tribute to the drivers, crew members, team owners and others that have impacted the sport in the past, present and future. The NASCAR Hall of Fame is open daily from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. (schedule subject to change) and has an attached parking garage on Brevard Street.

North Carolina Auto Racing Hall of Fame

The North Carolina Auto Racing Hall of Fame if the Official Visitor Center for Mooresville, providing race fans with a free race shop guide and map. Spend a day in Lakeside Park visiting the Hall of Fame, race shops and race-themed restaurants. The Museum features over 35 race cars dedicated to all types of auto racing. Relive racing’s greatest moments in the Goodyear Mini-Theater or simply stroll by the many showcases and displays. The Art Gallery features many of motorsports’ top artists including Garry Hill, Sam Bass, Jeanne Barnes and Dan McCrary as well as many other local talents. Rare artists’ prints are available for purchase at the gift shop.

PIT Indoor Kart Track

(East on Hwy 150 from Exit 36)
Experience an adrenaline rush at the nation’s largest indoor kart track. This 100,000 square foot facility features karts that sit only an inch off the track and are capable of speeds up to 40 mph. PIT also offers a laser tag arena, arcade and billiards.

Raceworld USA consists of a skywalk through the facility, live pit road practice sessions and team training movies, retail store, restaurant and more including a 40-space private motor coach area. Open Monday-Saturday, 9:00 am to 7:00 pm. Raceworld USA offers over 60,000 square feet of dedicated meeting and event space. They host events ranging from 10 to 1,000 guests amidst the exciting atmosphere of a working NASCAR team. Thousands of guests each week experience the rare opportunity to see what it takes to get a team to the track for each race. Michael Waltrip opens his doors and provides access generally reserved for the NASCAR elite. Everyone is a VIP at Raceworld USA!
